Viner Scholarships are granted once a year. The funding round opens in May
and closes in August each year. Go to the News section
to find exact deadline dates. Please note, applications received outside
the deadline will not be considered.
Funding is granted for all courses starting in the following academic year. This means that even if your course starts in January, your application must be received by the August deadline. Before completing an application form, please ensure that have read, and comply with the Conditions of Sponsorship. Then go to Application Guidence to read find out how to complete the form and download an application form. The George Viner Memorial fund can cover some or all of your training costs. This may include course fees, travel costs, accommodation expenses, books and other equipment costs. Be sure to put down all your predicted costs, this will help the Trustees to see exactly how much your course is going to cost. However, being a George Viner Scholar is about much more than just money. You will be invited to open days, visits and talks all related to your chosen industry. As well as this you will be ask to attend the George Viner ceremony, this is your official presentation and is attended by many industry leaders. |
